Another Australian

G'day all
I've been a Linux user for about 20 something years and I've tried Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Peppermint, and a couple of others but I'm now very happy with Mint.
I have Microsoft Windows on my desktop to run proprietary software only.
I'm not familiar familiar with Terminal or with Wine either.
I'm a retired avionics engineer and spent most of my career in the army.
