Wireless and DHCP on RH9
OS: Linux unicorn 2.4.20-18.9 #1 Thu May 29 07:08:16 EDT 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Hardware: D-Link 650 (Prism2_cs) and SMC (ATMEL REVD)
When I try to connect to my wireless AP (SMC 2655W and D-Link 614+) it connects sends traffic but when it does a discovery on the DHCP server I see the following in my log file (on my server) but it never seems to receive the IP.
Jul 27 00:51:55 siren dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:05:5d:5b:f1:68 via eth0
Jul 27 00:51:56 siren dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.119 to 00:05:5d:5b:f1:68 via eth0
Jul 27 00:52:00 siren dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:05:5d:5b:f1:68 via eth0
Jul 27 00:52:00 siren dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.119 to 00:05:5d:5b:f1:68 via eth0
Jul 27 00:52:06 siren dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:05:5d:5b:f1:68 via eth0
Jul 27 00:52:06 siren dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.119 to 00:05:5d:5b:f1:68 via eth0
I will work this static IP but I want to aviod hard coding an IP. Also the prism2 drivers don't have a spot to configure each SSID with different IP's.
