Hi, I'm a complete newbie to Linux. After an incredibly painful installation (it took about 4 installs to get it right), I was hoping everything else would work fine. However, I just cannot get my wireless card (Netgear WG311) to work.

I have Linuxant on the Linux box, and I have uploaded and got a liscense for the WG311 card. Linuxant says everything is fine and all drivers are uploaded correctly.

After trying to make it work for a bit, I became frustrated and looked all over the internet for help on solving the problem. I've tried everything I possibly can, and have tried everything mentioned in all of the WG311 topics in this forum, and still it will not work.

I hope you guys can help me with this because I am at my wits end for what to try now.

I'm also very new to Linux, so pardon me for being very stupid.

Mandrake Linux 10 Community Edition
Netgear WG311 Card in the Linux Box
Netgear WGR614 Router I'm trying to connect to

I suppose I need to specify the output of some commands but I don't know which ones...
