trouble with a DWL-650 and Fedora Core2

Has anyone installed a DWL-650 v.p1 on Fedora Core 2 kernel version 2.6.5-1.358. I have tried a ndiswrapper with no luck so far. i have tried the linux-wlan-ng drivers but after make config i get errors in make all about NG_VECTORS or something. i dont think i am getting the right kernel source tree. if any one can help its appreciated, or if you just want to rant with me on why D-Link loves the moniker 650 but doesnt like single chipsets, than lets RANT!

check chipset

Hey Samurai_WHO?,
check which chipset your unit has in it, then try ndiswrapper one more time. here is the link to the 'wrapper list.
