I am trying to get my dwl-650+ to run with Fedora Core 2. However, no matter what I try to do, I cannot get iwconfig to even run. I have tried installing wireless tools for Fedora Core 2, but the commands still do not work (aka $ bash: iwconfig is not a valid command or something like that). What in the world am I doing wrong? I have been able to install ndiswrapper successfully. But it is worthless without iwconfig right? I have tried doing an install with the "everything" option, so I do not know what I am missing. Can anyone help? Thanks for everyone's time.
I founf out the problem. After some better research on my behalf, I found out that you have to su - root or log in as root because su does not change you over to the proper /sbin. Thanks for your help everyone!!!
