Hello,

I had a similar problem for my 3Com 3CRDW696 Wlan card with Redhat 8.0.

Once I added "alias eth1 orinoco_pci" in /etc/modules.conf, the card was detected and as soon as I compiled the driver from

http://ozlabs.org/people/dgibson/dldwd

13e source the card started working. But this was for my desktop and PCI card not PCMCIA. If you try with some Lucent/orinoco driver with PCMCIA support that may work.

Ifyou try on similar lines you might get the card working.

Hope this may click.
