newbie nearly there in setting up zydas g240

wlan0 interface is registered but it says no ip47 router found . i tried editing ifup-cfg-wlan0 and iwconfig but i cant access internet.

strange thing is iwlist wlan0 scanning comes up with the right values. so correct scanning but i cant configure it.

ifconfig gives segmentation fault error. i have hostap drivers compiled with kernel and not as modules.

im nearly there. my zydas g240 changed from red to orange when i pluggin to usb and hotplug works and tries to register zd1201 driver and wlan0 intereface, which it did.

yep its the problem with ifconfig. i know that my driver version and my wireless tools version dont match.

If you run iwconfig in a console, does it look like your wireless card is configured correctly? If not, instead of relying on ifup-cfg-wlan0, you could try setting it by hand with iwconfig and see if you get any enlightening errors.
