Ndiswrapper Issues

I'm running Slackware 12.0 Kernel 2.6.21(.5?) and I'm having issues getting NDISWrapper to work for a Motorola wireless card. When I use modprobe it says error inserting ndiswrapper.ko: invalid module format, the dmesg | grep ndiswrapper says something about "2.6.215-smp module_load 848" should be "2.6.21.5 module load 464"

I only have a passing familiarity with Linux, but I switched to Slackware from Ubuntu Dapper to gain some more experience. All help is appreciated, thanks.

Are you use ndiswrapper is compiled for the kernel you're currently running? It seems that's the problem.

I've tried compiling it myself and it gives me that error. I'm going to try an older version.
