Mandrake+Conceptronic

Hello,
I Recently bought a wireless PCI card and I don't know wich drivers I need to use it under my mandrake 10.1

The PCI card is a 54Mbps Conceptronic and I use a 3Com wireless router.

Could anyone tell me wich drivers are compatible fos this card and what's the procedure to install them and make it work ?

Thanks!

Hi chus,

Conceptronic huh? Never heard of it. Okay, at the command line type
Code:
lspci
and it will chuck out a load of stuff and with it th chipset for your card. Post this back and we'll get started. In the meantime, make sure you have wireless tools installed (if its Mandrake 10.1 then it usually is by default) as well as your kernel-source files - use rpmdrake for this.
Regards
Chris

Oh hell, this card is going to give you some fun by the looks of it. Ndiswrapper doesnt work with it; you need to use madwifi's latest cvs snapshot which means it must be using some kind of wierd atheros-based evil spawn chipset. Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/madwifi/
I googled and got this
http://madwifiwiki.thewebhost.de/wiki/ConceptronicC54i
as well as someone who got it working on gentoo
http://www.jschreiber.com/archives/2...tronic_wi.html

Hope these help.
Regards
Chris
