Question Linksys WUSB11 V.2.8 Problems - disregard

Hello,

After doing some more research on this, I've found there have been other users to find this error, just on different threads. So this thread may be disreguarded.

I have the above mentioned wusb11 v.2.8 usb card. I've compiled the atmelwlandriver ok for it. When I plug in the device howerver and go to my system log, here are the log entries...

hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-1 assigned address 4
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usb.c USB device not accepting new address=4 (error=-110)
hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-1 assigned address 5
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usb.c: USB device not accepting new address=5 (error=-110)

Has anyone else seen this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Miles

It doesnt look like the driver is working for your 2.8.

I have 2.8 working with berlios driver at
http://at76c503a.berlios.de/

I used latest tarball, many of the earlier versions do not
have support for 2.8.

The driver to use is at76c505_rfmd2958

Has anyone found a way to get this driver working using PHLAK?
If so, how?

Thanks.

I can't get to the http://at76c503a.berlios.de/ site. Could someone e-mail me the file? If http://at76c503a.berlios.de/ doesn't come back up within a few days I can host it on my site after I receive it.

Found it here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=201712

several versions... I'm a noob so it'll be a while before I figure out how to install the driver, but at least I have it now...
