Intel Pro/wireless 2100 & Suse 10.0

I made the switch from XP to SUSE 10.0 today, so I am clueless.

I would like to use my internal wireless card. I have attempted to configure it via YaST but am not sure entirely what I am doing. Kinternet does not give me any options for wireless connection - it is greyed out.

Can you help me out?

Hi Billy. I'm in a similar boat, I have an intel 2200BG card in my laptop and I'm trying to configure my wireless linksys router. There's a thread going on that might help you, if you do a search for my name (rzavarella) you can find it.

Hope it helps! If I figure it out, I'll let you know...... I tried using YAST too but I can't seem to figure out what to do.

It appears to me that my card is recognised but is not 'active'. I know there is a 'sourceforge' driver out there (one for your card and one for mine) but I cannot understand how to install the driver to make it all work. There are installation instructions included but as a noob I need them to be 1. open Konsole, 2. type blah blah blah and so on...
