connecting to the internet via wireless through Intel PRo/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini P

I am currently using an IBM X31 and has just installed Fedora Core 2 on my laptop. However the place i am in does not have lan connections and i can only access the internet by wireless.

I have an Intel PRo/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter on board my comp. I am new to linux so how do i actually go about accessing the net?
Do i have to install or configure anything?

When you put in the card kudzu should see it when you boot and ask you if you want to configure it
If you can't connect then do this

as root
-go to Start-->System tools-->internet configureation wizard
Run throught the wizard and see what happens
