The openwrt i am using is kamikaze_8.09 and the avahi source code version is avahi-0.6.19.

I compiled kamikaze_8.09 and customised the c code of avahi-discover module and is compiled and successfully executed it in my computer.

Now i want to incorporate this avahi-discover module to OpenWrt for porting it into Linksys WRT54GL router.

I am planning to cross compile the customised avahi-discover module and then convert it in to .ipkg package and install it over openwrt inside the router. but i am not sure about these steps.

also i dont know the tool chain for cross compilation and how to convert it into .ipkg package.

please help me..
