How do I enter the wep key for netgear ma401?

How to enter WEP key in wireless.opts ( post #1)

KEY="ab:cd:ef:gh"
or
KEY="abcdefgh"
or
KEY="s:abcdefgh"

Cant seem to get my netgear ma401 to work with WEP enabled. I think I am entering the key wrong. Thanks.

I think I had this setup working before with the WEP settings in ifcfg-eth1 but I hosed my rh8 install and did not remember to write this down. If wireless opts will not work , anybody know how I might enter this in ifcfg-eth1? Thanks

You can do it from

bash20.5$ redhat-config-network

It's the GUI way though.

This might also work

bash2.05$ iwconfig ethX key 0123-4567-89
