DLink DWL-G650 wireless card in Mandrake 9.2

OK, so I'm trying to install a DLink DWL-G650 wireless card, rev B4, which is supposed to work with the madwifi driver. I can make & install fine, and lspci -v seems to find the card:

03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Unknwon device 168c:0013 (rev 01)
Subsystem: D-Link System Inc: Unknown device 3202
Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 11
etc. etc.

But modprobe ath_pci fails - it's not finding the card. The other two modules (wlan and ath_hal) install fine. Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a problem specifically with revision B4 of the card, or what? Thanks in advance ....
