configuring wireless on redhat 9 for compaq presario 2500

I have just switched to completely to Linux since a certain other unmentionable operating system failed to opeate appropriately. So I have managed to load and setup Red Hat 9 on my laptop: Compaq Presario 2500.

The system does not seem to be able to find the wireless card. I know that the computer has one since I had the wireless up and running on the other unmetionable operating system.

I was wondering if someone else had managed to figure out the wirless card on this or similar laptop model.

What card & what chipset?
You'll need to install and load the correct driver.

I think the network card is 801.11 PCMCIA card.
Chipset : M1533 PCI to ISA bridge

Im not sure of either of these. I got them off a webiste to do with my computer model. I cant find the details anywhere in the documenation I have for the laptop.
