Can connect or see my WLAN

I'm running Feisty on an Acer laptop with an atheros adapter and up until today I was a able to connect to my wireless. However now after fixing Adept with some updates knetwork manager doesn't see my net work anymore. Only wired devices and static connection. Any suggestions?
