SPARC as guest on Linux host

I need some Linux distro to install in emulated SPARC computer.
So far, I've tried latest debian-6.0.1a-sparc-CD-1.iso but it seems to require 64bit sparc. My host seems unable to emulate 64bit, it can only do 32bit. (CPU is 64bit but lacks VT).

Aurora seems to work on 32bit SPARC but is rather slow. I need some basic OS, no GUI or anything complex. Is there any better/faster distro for that purpose?

Exactly what are you using to emulate a sparc?

I'd not fool with the sparc and run openindiana but dunno what you are trying to do.
