Hi guys, rpg maker xp is probably my favorite game, if you want to call it that. In fact, It, Diablo and chess are the only games i play on computer. Anyways, i've never used wine before, and was just wondering if anyone has attempted to run rpg maker xp on linux with wine or any other windows alternative; and how they went?

Just check the wine website for what people say works with which version of wine they used. Most of the time you need to play around with which wine version you use. Like for instance I couldn't get Rosetta Stone to work until I used the developmental version of wine.
For your game there are some very old results but supposedly it works. It's rating shows that it requires a bit or work though. That might not be the case with the latest versions of wine. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...estingId=15096
