Yum that dont work

I have installed a fresh copy of fedora C3 with no problems, i got it onto the internet and run "yum update". at which point it checked the headers, downloaded and installed the packages. Once it finished and the terminal returned to normal i reboot the machine and then ran yum update again to c if there were anymore updates to get and it proceeded to check all the headers as it should, however it would appear that the update did not take

Meaning that nothing has been updated.

(I uncommented the "gpgcheck=1" lines in yum.conf)

i am sure i can do the update via the actual website, download updates and install them but that is a tedious process, also there are a few that dont work.

Can any1 offer any advice to cure this issue when updating

Thanks in advance

Looks like you double posted. There are a lot of people who don't like that, especially forum mods.
