gaim itself does not now nor will it likely ever support video chat however there is a specialized version of gaim called gaim-vv that should do it for you though i believe its still in the very experimental stages and may not be useful to you just yet (i believe at this point you can only receive video in yahoo but not broadcast im not sure if msn video chat works yet at all) it may still be worth a try and certainly worth keeping an eye on

for more information and to download go here ---> http://gaim-vv.sourceforge.net/

I hope this helps

If your webcam is V4L1 (I believe that is what it was called) then gyach enhanced might be something for you.

I have installed it on my system and it runs beautifully with a regular Yahoo user. Both sending images and receiving. Only downside is that I can only send out big images, and that the cam settings don't wish to stick. I have to set that up anew each time I start the cam. I haven't found a solution for those yet.

Check out my page right here (don't scroll, it is in the top) for the install on a Debian based system. The file is a .rpm, so you won't need to alien it to .deb if you are running on a system that reads .rpms of course.

And for the love of puppies.. !!!!!!!!!!!!! is irritating.
