xsupplicant - networks with spaces in their SSID's


Does anyone know how to enter details of a network with a space in its name into xsupplicant's config file??
My example is "Wavelan Network" (yes, I have tried quotes!)
I can't change the name of the network, and can't enter the details into the config file without generating an error due to the space.

Hmm.

Have you tried single quotes instead of double quotes?

Backslash before the space?

Parentheses around the whole string [may require \( and \)]?

Putting in the concatenation dot (.) where the space is?

Combinations of the above?

Is there any documentation for the product that tells you whether it uses "Regular Expressions" (or modified "Regular Expressions")? Sometimes quoting/escaping tapes some persistence but sometimes its just not allowed.
