XServer Display

Hi,

Is there any way of probing what are the active displays in my Fedora-10 desktop.

When I echo $DISPLAY i get :0.0

How to find out any other displays currently active in my machine.

Thanks and Regards
Piyush

Is it plugged in to more than one monitor or something like that? Otherwise it will just have the one display.

You can get other black screen terminals with ctrl+alt+F1 up to F6 usually. F7 is the X 'display'. If you are using a television as a monitor they might not show.

for one thing, you can look in /var/run:
utmp
xauth
xdmctl

The "who" command looks useful
