Question Xorg or XVideo problem

Hello all,

I have a fedora core 2 and I have a problem when trying to watch TV or see a movie after I change my resolution.

When I installed fedora core 2 I used the resolution 1024 x 768. After installing mplayer I was able to see movies. The TV (tvtime) worked fine as well.

The thing is that when I change the resolution to 1280 x 1024 for example I can no longer see either movies or TV. They just show green lines, but the sound is ok. If I revert to 1024 x 768 they work just fine!!!

I looked into the x.org config file and 1280 x 1024 is there. Let me know what information I should offer so that you get the better "picture"....

I can't understand why TV (and movies) work only with 1024 x 768. BTW mplayer is using xv when watching movies.

Can anyone tell me how to configure xvideo?

Please help.
Nick
