xmms in the gnome bar


is there any programs out there that just give me a simple options for xmms just in the top bar in gnome ???? am i being un clear? like little icons play/back/forwar/open/stop

or is there a way to maually put them there?

Yeah, left click on your toolbar-->add to panel--> launcher. Just fill in the options, the most important one is the command option. If you want to launch xmms type the path to xmms in the command part (path meaning where xmms is, most likely your home directory. You should be able to just type in xmms though), select your icon and your done. It will put your new icon in the tool bar for you. If that is what you mean.

no i ment more like winamp deskband thats a little program that makes a really mini winamp in the tast bar where i can just click play/stop/etc... with out actually focusing the winamp window

Hmm..the only one i know of would be a plug-in for gkrellm. If you're using grkellm. It's a pretty popular system monitor for linux systems. You can access volume and such from there and it resides on your desktop. http://gkrellm.net

You can use gxmms. That's a XMMS panel for the Gnome2 panel.
