XMMS on task bar and key binding
How do you get XMMS to not go on the task bar any longer? I know you can do it in winamp, and I'm sure you can do it in XMMS but I just can't find it. How do you do it?
Also, is there a program like bbkeys for gnome? Or will bbkeys work for gnome?
Thanks in advance.

Shameless bump, I don't know if you are aware, but there is a thread about bumping going around the site suggestions area right now...
Anyway, as for getting bbkeys to work with gnome, you could do that if you load bb as your gnome window manager rather than (I think it comes default as) sawfish.
You have many options for running things without them going to the taskbar, one that comes to mind is Gkrellm. You could use the gkrellm plugin for playing music.
Cool

Well when I run kgrellm it is in the taskbar also so I'm still kinda stuck here. And how would I run BB as my windows manager rather than nautilus the default
