xine on fedora core 2

has anyone got xine working on fedora core2.

i have been using xine-lib-1-rc5 and kaeffine,xine-ui
and not been able to get it working

xine-ui does not complete the 'make' procedure

kplayer,kmplayer report error as

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lselinux

pl. help me out here

Why are you compiling xine? You can easily download it through yum. Go into a terminal and su into root. And then go yum search xine. It will bring up a bunch of things u can install. Install xine and any other things to do with it that u want. yum install xine (and then anything else u want)

the problem is
if i install through yum,then each time i need to install xine through yum only....

and i cannot download xine/install xine in one go
the internet speed here is not so fast

i tried getting rpms from freshrpms.net
but that too are giving problems
