XCDROAST problem

Hello. I am running andrake 10.1 official, kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk.

I configured Xcdroast as root, but I can't get it to work. Apparently it's everything OK, but actually the front end always gives me the message "no medium in device". I have one RW cd burner, recognized by the system as both ATA and ATAPI. I tried both with the same result.

I tried running xcdroast from terminal, and in the terminal window I get hundreds of time the following message:

(xcdroast:5114): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file ../../gtk/gtkwidget.c: line 3359 (gtk_widget_event): assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed

What does it mean?

I used Xcdroast in the past with success, but I was running Slackware 9.1 with an older kernel and the scsi emulation activated. Should I activate scsi emulation on kernel 2.6 also? It shouldn't be necessary...

Help appreciated

Thanks to all

Thanks to all
try it. it's only a couple of reboots and it's not going to hose your system.
