Xbindkeys

Hello,

Im using Slackware 12.2 as my distro everything is working fine. Only i cant get the global keys to work in xmms. I've installed xbindkeys and i when i run xbindkeys -k and i press the play media button on my keyboard i see this:

Press combination of keys or/and click under the window.
You can use one of the two lines after "NoCommand"
in $HOME/.xbindkeysrc to bind a key.
"(Scheme function)"
    m:0x10 + c:162
    Mod2 + NoSymbol

But how can i bind that key to run this command xmms --play-pause please explain me every step as im a new user.

Just take a look at your .xbindkeysrc. It's fully commented with clear examples on how to set everything up.

Run "xbindkeys -d > ~/.xbindkeysrc" if the file doesn't yet exist in your home folder, as mentioned in the man page.
