xbindkeys - some keys unbindable?

Most of my keys are registered and received. xbindkeys -k shows them. Some keys however, don't show up. (ie, my Messenger key, I wanted to bind gaim to it...)

It's not all that important, I'm just curious as to why a key wouldn't be bindable. I'm using a Logitech wireless Elite keyboard, if that's any help.

Thanks.
