XAWTV - TV card.

Image wrapping.

When I use XAWTV, the image wraps, any idea how I can fix this. I'm using a hauppauge video editor card.

This is what the images looks like:

3333333333333
4444444444444
5555555555555
6666666666666
7777777777777
8888888888888
1111111111111
2222222222222

Thanks,

Robert

I used to get that when I hadn't set the correct TV type. I'm NTSC and it defaulted to PAL, and that was the result.

HTH

Cool

Left click and it will open up a screen for you to change settings (the options menu). From there it should be self explanatory.

Cool

A better way is to use the motv command instead of xawtv. motx gives you exactly the same thing as xawtv;just that its Qt based, so comes with a GUI

Hope that helps...

no it's not, it's motif based, hence the name.
