[SOLVED] X11VNC: Cannot Connect Clients

I am using Mandriva Linux 2011.1. I am trying to start a VNC Server. I've used the command line:

x11vnc -q display :0 -create -nocache 10

I'm trying to get a command line that will export my running X session. When things appear to go well on the server side, I haven't been able to connect on the client side. I have some command lines that I think worked before, but that was in an older version of Mandriva Linux.

I think the corrrect command line I have is:

x11vnc -q -display :0 -create -nocache 10

I will try as a next step to uninstall and reinstall x11vnc. I will try using a different distribution source and see if that helps. If that doesn't, and I am not sure what else to do, I will probably just downgrade my Mandriva Linux back to 2009.1, on which I believe close to that command line seemed to work, according to my notes.

It appears that in this version of the program, the program MUST be run in the GUI to work. I tried to start it as a service, which used to work, but now it wants to be run in the GUI. I used the Linux LXDE startup configuration to run the program at startup, and it seems to work now.
