Question X Windows won't boot - Red Hat 7.1

I just installed Red Hat 7.1 on my computer. The install went fine, everything loaded correctly. However, my video card - GeForce3 - wasn't on the list of video devices. I just chose to skip the setup for X Windows. I have downloaded the rpm files from NVidia and installed them. How to I setup X Windows now? I tried typing 'setup' but the GeForce 3 still isn't a choice. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Try using one of the generic drivers. However, be conservative in your estimates of what your board can handle!

The generic drivers should at least get you to a GUI and from there you should be able to configure your hardware using the installed package. You could do it manually in /etc/X11/XF86Config. Here's a sample from my current setup.
Code:
Section "Device"
  BoardName "Rage 3D Pro AGP"
  BusID "1:0:0"
  Driver "ati"
  Identifier "Device[0]"
  Screen 0
  VendorName "ATI"
EndSection
You would want to tale note of what the driver (server) for your card is named. It should have been placed in your /usr/X11/bin folder (or wherever your Xwindows default is).
