Ooh... yet another non-starting X server.

Please post your xorg config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf), the relevant parts of your xorg log files from /var/log/Xorgs*log (if in doubt, post it all somewhere on the web and supply a link).

X talks to your keyboard, mouse, monitor and graphics card. Please post as much information about those as you can think of. Since it may be of use, post the output of lspci, lsmod and uname --all.

You may also benefit from reading http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html and http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html.

Also, if you go to `My LQ -> Edit my profile' and fill in the `Distribution', you don't have to say which distro you're on all the time.

Finallly, thumbs up for picking a quality distribution best wishes, and I hope you get it to work.
