X Error of failed request: BadAccess

Hi,

Running a program that's supposed to open an X Window to display some graphical output, I get the following error:

"X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
Major opcode of failed request: 89 (X_StoreColors)
Serial number of failed request: 17
Current serial number in output stream: 25"

I am running RedHat Linux 8.0.

I recompiled the program and it works fine except for this problem.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Diana,

Did you ever get any clues as to solving your issue?

The product I'm using worked fine in SuSE 8 but I get the following problem in SuSE 9.1,

so I was wondering if you had any pointers.
