WMV Files skip when playing

Ok...
First off, I'm not sure if my problem is like any other one of the problems with SuSE and the Win32-Codecs (or just general media).
I have MPlayer, and the Win32-Codecs installed, and seemingly correctly. The WMV files will play, but they skip (not the video, just the audio). They seem to play perfectly in my PCLOS install, so at least I know it's possible.
So MPlayer (only command line, but I don't really care about the GUI that much) can play the files. I don't get the "driver not found" error, and all of the driver files are chmod'd to 777. My command forlaunching MPlayer is this:
Code:
mplayer -vo gl nintendothemesacappellax.wmv
(I use "-vo gl" because if doesn't like my video card)

So does anyone know how I can fix this? It's really a pain to try and find the video I'm trying to play on Google Video...

You could experiment with options:
-ao oss
-ao alsa
-ao arts
-ao jack
-ao pcm

The command 'mplayer -ao help' lists the possibilities.
Also, 'man mplayer' lists some options to be parameters you can pass to the drivers, e.g:
-ao alsa:mmap:noblock:device=hw=0.3

Mplayer developers must not sleep.
