WM Border Around gDesklets in Fluxbox

Hey all,

I just installed gDesklets on my laptop and I generally use fluxbox. When I try to run a desklet I see the Fluxbox border around the desklet. Instead of just being on my desktop, the desklet is launched as though it were another application, with the minimize, maximize, and close buttons and a title bar and everything.

I know about a year ago I ran Fluxbox and gDesklets on my old desktop and I did not have this problem. Is there some new switch or setting I need to fix to make the desklets show up without the window manager decorations?

Thanks,
Chryzmo

I have fluxbox version 0.9.12 and gdesklets version .30. It is the version of gdesklets that came with Freerock GNOME. Could it be different than one that I would compile myself?

Your fluxbox version is fairly recent, but that version of gdesklets is a year or so old. Try the latest 0.34 stable release or one of the .35 RC's and see if that makes a difference.
