Actually I saw something a little similar about the missing glu.h file in the the wineX mailing list archive on sourceforge:

That link will hopefully take you there. Baiscally they said that you need to search for it on the internet, and put it in the correct location.

Did you compile with Suse or Mdk? Just curious because I got the same error with Suse 7.3
