unsatisfied dependencies
/sbin/ldconfig
depends
/sbin/ldconfig , rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) (<= 4.0-1), rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) (<= 3.0.4-1)

ok I have tried numerous things now, but this problem no matter how hard I try I am always left with, does anyone know how to edit the ldconfig file to be whats there or possibly give me a link to an RPM that can fix it for me

Did you download and install the required dependencies? Also, what distribution are you using and are you trying the commands as root?
