Wine never had sound on my computer.

Hi, does wine have sound on your computer? On my computer i never have sound, so i cannot use programs like guitar-pro or play a game.

When running winecfg i tell it to autodetect my sound card. It says if found oss (i use alsa) and when i try to configure it, it says that "Couldn't open wineoss.drv"

How can i fix it? Where can i download wineoss.drv?

If i put alsa there, it doesn't work. When i try to play a sound it gives lots of errors and doesn't play at all.

I got sound from websites with flash/audio under wine and from the xm radio link on aol. I have no talent so havent tried guitar-pro. I used to compiled wine and winecfg gave me oss and alsa as options. Same thing with binaries for my distro...
Have u tried compiling your own pakage?

It is not hard to compile. Wine doesn't have many dependencies. I have 0.9.10
