There's no interface. It works through the console. If you want to install a windows programme, you insert the CD (or Floppy or DVD, or copy the file into a directory) and then type the command like this (obviously, use the appropriate path and file name)
wine /wherever/the/application/is/application.exe
That should install it. It will probably be installed into a subdirectory of ~/.wine - that's where wine puts the fake windows drive. There you can find it and start it via the console. If you are using the application quite often, you may want to put it on your desktop as a Desktop Config File (in KDE, which is what I am using). As command, you can then use wine /path to file/file.exe
For some applications, it may be worth while to install winetools. You find this here:
