Where does Wine keep track of all the files installed? I aborted a setup at one point because I had something wrong with wine, but then I went to reinstall and it gave me an error saying it's already installed and that I need to uninstall it (which I have no clue how to do) So I went deleting some files that might contain info on where it's stored the Already installed part, but no luck. (the package was dcom98.exe).
lol. You could try something farfetched by redownloading the exact same source that you had tried to install before and then try running "make clean" in its directory using the terminal. If it was an RPM you tried using, all you have to do is type "rpm -e wine" or "rpm -e winx" (sometimes you have to include the version) and that should remove it for you.
Sorry but I dont know where it keeps all its files but you shouldn't go around deleting it because the RPM registers will still have it and very few people here know how to edit those. (not me anyways)
Ok, so I tried the workaround thing but I believe because I did that, I can't run MacroMedia Flash MX. I get an error

So I'm not sure if there is a way around that one too. I really need flash up and working and well, now that linux is running nicely I don't feel like reinstalling windows.
