Unhappy windows to linux mounting problem

I am trying to use Oracle DBMS on SLES 9.
But the data of Oracle will be on the NAS with Windows 2003 server.
I have mounted the shared folder from NAS to my SLES using smbmount.
But i am having trouble at user permission on mounted folder of NAS.
The Oracle works only if its own data, which means the owner of mounted folder on windows server must oracle.
But i can't change the owner of that folder. it's now with the "root".
Can somebody please advise me??

do u have an entry for this mount point in /etc/fstab?
if so post that file.. u probably need to specify the 'user' option to the mount
