Why won't my sound work in slackware 10?


I'm running slackware 10 on a PCG-FX120 Sony Vaio Laptop on 2.6.* kernel. I have done alsamixer -c 1 -- I turned the volume up on these -- still no sound -- Whats wrong??

Run as root alsaconf to reset everything and follow the instructions it tells you
