Which player for streaming video in suse 10.0?

I am having a problem trying to view streaming video and none of my players (real player, caffine, xine and mplayer) could handle the stream. If I need plugins, can the player update itself or do I need a different player?

You need to ensure you have the win32codecs package installed.
