Which Linux-distro shall I load as dual-boot

Which Linux-Distro shall I load for dual-boot?

On my computer 486, I have Windows 98 on one hard drive and the second hard drive (40 GB) is empty and I would like to use for Linux.
I would like to set it up as dual-boot.

Now, what is the simplest and user-friendly distro:

Mandrake 9.1 ?

Mandrake 10 - with KDE ?

Red Hat 9 ?

Debian 3.1 ?

What do you suggest I should load?

Well, you should certainly use the newest version available.
So Mandrake 9.1 is out.
Red Hat 9 is not very new too, and not supported anymore.
You could check Fedora instead (open source project supported by red hat).
Debian ist very not user-friendly.

I would try mandrake. very easy to use. Extremely easy to install
