Where to find missed Firefox plugins???

hai,

My firefox is always crying with " additional plugins are needed to display the media"". when i click on the " Install plugins" It will do a searvh and finally find out " No suitable plugins were found"

Unknown Plugin(Application/x-mplayer2)

where can i find this plugin for firefox. Please help me

I don't think that is a plugin that you can download from Firefox add-ons page. Since you did not mention which distribution you are using (nor it is listed in your profile), I will give you a link to the "Ubuntu way" of doing this:

that should cover how to install mplayer and the firefox plugin. You can use other players as well, but you are better of using your distribution package manager to handle that if you are new to Linux.
