Where is the FreeType utility ftdump?

I cant find or install ftdump which I read is a standard utility supplied with FreeType. I need this to run the Linux Font Renamer script by Stephan Hegel (opcion.sourceforge.net/renamer)

I am using Ubuntu 5.10 which has FreeType 2. I've tried installing various packages like libotf-bin, libft-perl, and freetype1-tools, but still cant find ftdump.

Any advice would be appreciated.
