Where is my mail going?

Ok, I decided to completely edit this post because my problem has completely changed

I have openwebmail setup and imap installed so I can check email sent to my computer

I have postfix installed, but I really am not understanding it. I was getting an error that says: "User unknown in local recipient table" and I couldnt figure out how to fix that, so I used "local_recipient_maps = " so it doesnt look up.

Now, I can send a message through (I have been telneting to port 25 to view the server messages) and it appears that the message gets sent. server says "250 Ok: queued as 5494938653D" and I quit, and then try to check mail with openwebmail and it still shows no messages.

I cant find anything on here for searching as to how to get postfix working, and I cant find anything in the docs that will help me towards understanding what is happening.

I know someone on this forum has postfix working and could help a

The email provider I am using is me. I have set up the server on my home computer.

Turns out it was a configuration problem with postfix (which I was unable to resolve).
I switched to sendmail and was up and running in a couple minutes.
