where is it at question?


i got wine working pretty good ,and installed a windows program which worked great ,now i need to get into where it was installed , in which directory is my program...thanks

You should be able to enter at the console:
Code:
whereis wine
and this should give you the installation path together with all the libraries, etc.

R u talking about the location to which u installed wine or the folder where ur windoes pgm was installed?

whereis wine will give u the binray location if thats in your PATH.
If ur distro is rpm based then u can give "rpm -ql wine"

windows pgms installed thry wine are usually located under $HOME/.wine
